A Gospel Driven Ministry

1 Thessalonians 1:1-5

It’s encouraging to stop and realize that God planted the churches of Jesus Christ in the soil of pagan hostility. Churches didn’t cower or recoil at the suffering they faced. They thrived. Why is that? Because they believed the promise of their Savior who said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” This is the promise of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
