Finding Hope in the Christmas Story, Part 2

The birth of Christ truly is the beginning of the gospel. In fact, even in Mary’s motherly care in wrapping baby Jesus and laying Him in the manger at the beginning of His life, she parallels what happens at the end of life? After Jesus died, Joseph of Arimathea took his lifeless body and wrapped it in cloth and laid Jesus in a tomb. We see in the birth and death of Jesus the reminder of Jesus humanity. Our savior was truly God, and truly man.
