Reasons We Rejoice, Part 3

The reason that obedience to a command like rejoicing can actually be convicting and difficult is because we live in the midst of this crazy, messed up, sin infested world? Just glancing at everything going on in the world makes it look like there is not much to rejoice in. But as we learned in the last few messages, Reasons We Rejoice, Part 1 and 2, we can rejoice because God promises that in our obedience we will find blessing that include mission success, gospel friendship, victory over demon tyranny and, in these verses we’ve been looking at, we see joy in the fact that Jesus is watching over us, actively involved in all of our circumstances! All of those things are worthy of rejoicing, no matter what else is going on around us.
