Following Christ means doing what he did.
What does it really mean to follow Christ? Jesus tells us many times that there will be suffering, shame, persecution, and possibly death. He says, if they hate you, they hated me first. Being a true Christian means that you are willing and wanting to follow Jesus. Jesus says following Him means doing what He did, take up your cross and follow Him. Travis will explain what it means to take up your cross and follow Him. When we evangelize do we really give the whole truth?
