What authority are we to follow
“Render to Caeser the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s.” Text like this gets wrongly applied, because they are misunderstood. One of the reasons this happens is many people aren’t reading and studying their Bibles with good hermeneutics. Jesus tells a parable to explain to the listeners, what this answer to the scribes’ question means. Do you have ears to hear and eyes to see what the parable teaches about rightly following authority?
