The Messiah Announces His Mission, Part 1 | The Mission of God’s Messiah
Salvation is only found by those who know they need a savior.
Jesus returns to His hometown of Nazareth and reveals His reason for coming. Why did Jesus come? Many know that he came to evangelize, to preach the gospel, to set sinners free from those internal unpayable debts of sin against a Holy God. When he comes again are you going to be more like the people of Nazareth, who rejected their Messiah or are you willing to examine yourself against God’s law? Remember that no one finds salvation that does not recognize that they are lost and needing salvation. Is your heart soft, humble, and willing to repent or is it a hard proud unrepentant heart.
