A Lesson in Worship from a Sinful Woman | Salvation is for you too
An attitude of worship from a sinner.
Luke, Chapter 7 compares a Jewish religious leader, a Pharisee, with a Samaritan woman. Jesus is invited to a Pharisees home for a meal. There are other invited guests and a woman who includes herself, because she wants to see Jesus. The attitudes of both, the Pharisee and the Samaritan woman, regarding who Jesus is are the two attitudes prevalent in all generations. The Bible teaches that all of us are like the Pharisee and the Samaritan woman – sinful in the presence of a holy God. But we should all be learning from the woman to have an attitude of worship for our Savior who looks at us in love and offers us salvation.
