Create kingdom treasures not worldly ones
A heart focused on heaven is a heart at rest and a heart focused on earthly cares is a heart full of anxiety. Jesus tells us what we need to do to alleviate anxiety and what we need to do to get our focus off the here and now and onto His glorious kingdom. Jesus then tells us why we need to shift our focus. The Lord tells us to store up treasures in heaven. What are those treasures? When you focus on creating Kingdom treasure, what the Earth treasures offer are fleeting and worthless.
