You must be born again!
Following Christ means loyalty and priority to Jesus over family and self. It cannot be understated, how important it is for us to understand the difference between Jesus’s definition of what it means to be a Christian, one of His followers, and the common understanding of what it means to be a Christian. A follower of Christ must have the true understanding of what the Bible teaches about God and salvation. Attendance in a solid Bible teaching church is important. There would be no greater tragedy than to come to the end of your life and be found to be a Christian in name only.
