A Christ Centered Christmas

Luke 1:1- 2:20, Colossians 1:15-20

The Christmas story in the Gospel of Luke is not just a seasonal Bible story; It is nothing less than a call to salvation, it is a call to believe, it is a call to worship, it is the truth that God is Sovereign over all of creation. The Christmas story is not only the testimony of Mary, but the testimony of the angels, the shepherds, and the wise men that the birth of Christ is not a fable or a fictional tale, but an actual telling of the birth of God come into the world as a Human and as Deity to fulfill God’s gracious offer of reconciliation with Him. God’s offer to forgive the sins of any person who would accept, His son, Jesus, as Lord over their lives and as the perfect sacrifice, offered to the father, as the payment for all of their sins is the gift of the Christmas story.
