In this message we will be looking at the rocky soil and the soil filled with weeds. As you listen to this message, it would be good for us to examine our own hearts. You are going to hear Travis say, “American Christianity is a false religion of fruitless converts.” This is in reference to the fact that there are so many in churches today who are Christian in name only. Whose lives demonstrate that their profession of faith, their willingness to “receive” the gospel actually places them in the category of one of the two types of soils we will be looking at today. True saving faith produces a life that is completely changed.
