In Philippians, Chapter 3, Paul commands the believer to “Rejoice in the Lord.” By commanding it, he is separating the need or reason to rejoice from how we might feel in that moment. This is based on the biblical truth that if you are a Christian you always have a multitude of reasons to rejoice, whether you feel it in the moment or not.
