As Christians, we love with a view to please our Father – bringing glory to God by how we love, not to get a certain reaction or result from our enemy. We are only able to love because God loved us first. Because of His great mercy toward us, we are redeemed, we are His children, He is our Father. Therefore, we obey Him.
