Incentives for Faithful Stewardship, Part 1

Incentives for Faithful Stewardship, Part 1

Today we are going to come face to face with what can sometimes be an uncomfortable realization, that everything that we think belongs to us actually belongs to God. As Creator of all things, God is the owner of all things. Psalm 50:10-12 says, “For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are mine.” This is why when we are talking about our lives and what we are doing for God, the word stewardship is such an important word, because it keeps everything in the right perspective.
