In this series we have been looking at Jesus’s healing of a demon possessed boy and like the crowds in our verses, we are amazed at the power of Jesus but He, Jesus, asks us to look more deeply, see things more clearly, think about things truthfully. In our verses, the boy experiences a kind of resurrection, a complete and total healing. That’s exciting! However, Jesus has more for us to see! We know that we all face death, but to face death with an assurance that we will rise again, that’s even more amazing! But how can we be assured that we will actually rise again? Today, Travis will show us, Biblically, that the prerequisite for resurrection is faith.
