Jesus accepted God’s divine wrath for God’s glory and for us! So how did Jesus get through this trial? He held fast to the Father He knew – His promises and His presence.

The true basis of Easter is much deeper - founded in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross to pay for our sins. A right understanding of Jesus submission to the plan of the Father to sacrifice himself for sin is a deep and moving demonstration of grace which should drive us to respond.
