For many of us it is very difficult to not get caught up in the busyness of this time of year, and very easy to lose track of why this day is actually worth the type of celebration that pauses the day to day activities of the entire world. This is the day that we rejoice in the certain hope of our salvation inaugurated in the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. A hope that is made even more certain as we see the emphasis on God’s sovereignty. Hope as we see His tender care for us in our desperate need of His perfect redemption!
