Do you make your first responsibility the will of God?
As Christians, our responsibility is to worship and follow Christ. Christ is the source of our hope, even in times where we may be concerned that following our faith is banned by society changes. The bible explicitly tells us we are to be obedient to the leaders of government, but when their leadership asks us to sin or rebel against God, we must follow God’s laws and commands. God promises persecution and trouble, (John 16:33) but He also promises eternal life for those who have salvation in Christ. (John 3:36)
