When Joseph and Mary met Simeon they marveled at his words, his testimony about God’s Son, Jesus. They had already been privy to some amazing, miraculous events but 8 days after Jesus’s birth, they still marveled when God spoke to them through Simeon’s words! A testimony should bring glory to God’s name the same way that Simeon’s testimony did.
