When it comes to Jesus’ death, Jesus was not merely a victim – ultimately, people did not kill Him. He gave up His life voluntarily. Why? To pay the price for your sin and mine. The eternal plan of God was for the death of Jesus Christ to pay the wages of sin for all who will repent of their sin and place their trust in Christ.
