Jesus and God’s sovereign plan of salvation.

Jesus is unjustly put to death in accordance with the perfect plan of God in order to provide the way to redeem sinners. Jesus made a choice to obey God, His Father. He chose to lay down His life. He wasn’t crucified because He was guilty, and ultimately, He wasn’t crucified because the crowds demanded it. He was crucified to take the punishment for our sins. He chose to lay down His life for us.
