Discipleship is a radical realignment of your loyalty.
There are so many people who believe themselves to be followers of Jesus. They think that it is relatively easy to follow Jesus. They like to listen to a lot of the things that he says and they include Him as part of their lives. But we will see that Jesus gives a much different picture of what it means to be a disciple. Jesus’s definition of what it looks like to follow him is radically different than how many people, who claim to be his followers, who claim to be a Christian, define it.
