Reasons Jesus Rejoices, Part 1
Jesus rejoices in who God is.
This section of scripture is the only place where we get to look on as Jesus rejoices in God, His Father. And what we are going to see through Jesus is that he anchors His cause for rejoicing in the character of God. Jesus knows God the Father intimately and He knows all the blessing the Father has decreed for mankind. Knowing the Father’s character and attributes causes Jesus to rejoice. This is such a crucial concept for us to grasp as we try to understand why it is that Christians are to be a rejoicing people. Why do we not rejoice? The primary reason is because we fail to think rightly about God and His true character. Learn from Jesus how to be a rejoicing Christian.
