Jesus saves the lost sinners.

Celebrate the resurrection of our Lord with a clear understanding of the mission and fulfillment of Jesus’ mission on earth. Jesus gave the mission statement for His life in Luke 19:10, “He came to seek and save the lost.” In order to fulfill His mission, He had to die and be resurrected by God the Father. We celebrate His resurrection, because no sinner can be given eternal life unless Jesus paid the penalty for sinners who repent of their sins. Jesus’ resurrection proves God was pleased with Jesus’ payment of these sins.
