Faith is a prerequisite for resurrection to eternal life.
Jesus’s healing of a demon possessed boy displayed to the crowds and us, the amazing power of Jesus. But Jesus, asks us to look more deeply, to see things more clearly. As the demon leaves the boy, he is dead. Jesus raises him to life, as a kind of resurrection, plus a complete and total healing. We all face death, but to face death with an assurance that we will rise again is encouraging. But how can we be assured that we will actually rise again? Travis will show us, Biblically, that the prerequisite for resurrection is faith. Do you understand Jesus’ payment for your sins and God’s forgiveness? We are all sinners before a Holy God, and we will all stand before Him some day. Are you prepared to face Him?
